Terroirs

Pierre Ponnelle is above all passionate about wine. In 1875, Peter founded his own Ponnelle merchants. Pierre Ponnelle is considered a pioneer of wine and a large contractor for the development of Burgundy wines. He founded his wine laboratory by leveraging its knowledge to develop the methods of winemaking in Burgundy. He will always seek to enhance and bring out the finesse and elegance of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Burgundy.

Tasting

The colour is crimson or dark ruby. It boasts aromas of cherry, liquorice, and sometimes violet. It has a firm, straight forward taste, and the tannins are more pleasant once matured, with just the right amount of body.
