Chambolle Musigny
Terroirs
Chambolle-Musigny is often described as the most feminin red wine of the Côte de Nuits. Its intensity coupled with its finess make it a very elegant wine thanks to its rich soil made of limestone.
Tasting
To the eye, it's a bright ruby with purple hues.
Its bouquet, easily recognisable, is composed of violet and small red fruits. Rich and complex to the mouth, the aromas last a long time and the tannins are very smooth.
Food Matching
Feathered game, well roasted lamb or creamy cheeses like reblochon.
